The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) is the statutory regulator for pharmacists and pharmacies in Ireland, responsible for protecting public health and ensuring professional standards. As a key communications tool, the PSI website must meet the needs of a broad and diverse user base — from the general public and advocacy groups to pharmacists, policy-makers, and educational institutions.
Outdated and overwhelmed
Over time, the existing website had become outdated — hard to navigate, unresponsive on mobile, and difficult for internal teams to update. Stakeholder research revealed that many users struggled to find basic information, leading to inefficiencies and unnecessary queries to PSI staff. Accessibility compliance, search functionality, and secure access to dynamic data integrations were all essential requirements. Building on our deep Drupal expertise, we designed a modular website with full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, enterprise-grade security, and seamless integration with PSI’s Dynamics 365 CRM for real-time public register access and data visualisation.
