Since its inauguration in 2013, Piquant has grown from a start-up of 2 to a team of 15 creatives, designers, creators, communicators and developers. As a full-service creative agency with nine years of experience across our services of brand, design, media, web and communications, Piquant recognised the value in restructuring the team by the creation of two new head of department roles that will work side by side with company directors Conor Buckley, Kevin King and Róisín Buckley to lead the team in the production of inspiring, beautiful work that drives social change.

This is a pivotal moment for Piquant; we recognise the dynamism and creativity that Hugh and Lyndsey have brought to the team and are excited to work with them as they develop the vision, impact and scope of branding, communications and strategy at Piquant.

I am thrilled to be afforded this opportunity. The last two years have distinctly highlighted the precarious position our world is in and that the next decade will be pivotal in determining all our futures. With this in mind, I will use this opportunity to work with and empower brands in a position to shift the dial and effect positive change in sectors instrumental to environmental safeguarding, human rights protection and cultural expression. I believe this can be achieved through focus on insight, empathy, purpose and impact.

As a growing agency in Ireland’s Midwest, Lyndsey and Hugh’s appointments facilitate Piquant in developing and strengthening the branding and communications services that we can provide to our clients. We are excited to support the new department heads as they realise their visions.
