HR & Office Administrator

Piquant is seeking a highly skilled, efficient and passionate HR & Recruitment Executive to join our creative team. Reporting to the company directors, you will ensure smooth operational practices for HR and office administration initiatives and services.

Who We Are: Piquant is a full-service creative agency based in Limerick City. We are creative, curious and conscientious. We produce media, websites, brands, design and campaigns for NGO’s, educational institutions, government agencies, food producers, arts organisations, product inventors, retailers, the tourism industry and more.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering considered responsive human resources solutions for our team of 16 and supporting Piquant with recruitment and office administration as they increase the team in 2023.

About the Position:The HR and Office Administrator will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to the business across of all aspects of HR and office administration, delivering best in class processes, assisting with drafting of procedures and practices to ensure the successful execution of the business development strategy and objectives. You will be part of an energised and passionate team of creatives who are dedicated to producing stunning concepts and creative for our clients.


  • Manage and co-ordinate on-boarding and off-boarding of talent including pre-employment, induction, exit interviews, and other relevant duties
  • Ensure smooth operational practices for all HR initiatives and services by proactively resolving HR issues with the aim of effectively executing the business strategy and objectives
  • Support strong communication that is transparent and positive for all employees
  • Obtain, collate, and file all employee information, ensure all paperwork required is completed prior to the employee start date.
  • Coordinate office organisation systems including Dropbox, email and Asana.
  • Provide HR advice and guidance to employees throughout all stages of the employee life cycle, ensuring the management of our people is in line with company policies, processes and procedures while also ensuring legal compliance
  • Maintain accurate contractual records for personnel such as contracts, job descriptions, extension letters, salaries and any other relevant employee documentation and information
  • Aid in updating the employee policies and procedures as required from time to time
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle (including drafting of job descriptions, advertising, and interviewing) to ensure all roles are filled within a production schedule timeframe
  • Work with directors and coordinators in the studio on scheduling candidate interviews
  • Take part in interviews with candidates and send out assessments when required for the role
  • Any other duties company management may from time to time deem necessary and reasonably require


  • Degree in HR, Business or related field, preferred.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • 2+ years HR and recruitment experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • A CIPD accredited is desirable
  • Understanding of employment legislation
  • Experience running recruitment campaigns/processes
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to multi-task in a busy environment
  • Strong communication both verbal and written
  • Technology fluent with excellent computer literacy and experience using HR systems

Job Type: Part-time – initial 6 month contract, progressing to permanent role after 6 month probationary period. 2.5 days per week, flexible schedule (can be 2.5 full days or 5 mornings).

Back End Web Developer

Role: Full time position

Who We Are: Piquant is a full-service creative agency based in Limerick city. We design and build human centred websites for a diverse range of clients. We prototype, design, build and deploy digital projects that are bespoke to our customers’ needs and always to the highest standards.

We are looking for an experienced Back End Web Developer to join our team.

Job Description: Back End Web Developer Requirements

  • A Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Experience developing project that adhere to the highest UI and UX standards
  • Cross-browser and responsive websites
  • Conversion of layouts and designs into functioning HTML pages
  • Git

Job Description: Piquant is looking for an experienced Back End Web Developer with experience in the development of functional websites from design through to sign-off. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering rich projects through lean code while adhering to the highest UI and UX standards.

You will be responsible for all back-end development tasks from design through to testing.

We develop primarily in Drupal so any knowledge of working in this environment would be very beneficial.

There will be opportunities within the role to work with a senior developer on large-scale Drupal projects.
