AutoEntry is a Saas brand that specialises in the development of OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software solutions. We produced a series of promotional videos showcasing the AutoEntry products and services, each aimed at a specific target user (small-sized businesses, medium-sized businesses, and accountants). Using live-action and animation the videos demonstrated how the functional benefits of the product can lead to emotional benefits, relevant to each target demographic.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT — With three distinct audience targets (small-sized businesses, medium-sized businesses, and accountants), it was important to create a cohesive concept that delivered a consistent video series while connecting directly with each audience segment. The concept we developed placed a relatable product user in their working environment and combined live-action, voice-over and animation to demonstrate how the functional benefits of the product can lead to emotional benefits, relevant to each target demographic.
MOTION GRAPHICS DESIGN — On-brand product illustrations were animated to showcase the specific products, services and benefits that were relevant to the audience segment. An engaging voice-over takes the audience through the product specifics, identifying the relevant features and showcasing how they relate to the target audience.
SCRIPT WRITING & VOICE OVER — We developed the video narrative and then worked closely with AutoEntry to produce an upbeat and relevant voice-over script that hit the key technical terminology while building the story and emotional connection between the product benefits and the customer. We sourced the voice-over artist to find a voice that would resonate with the audience segment and was in line with the AutoEntry brand identity. The voice-over was recorded in Piquant’s recording booth.
VIDEO PRODUCTION — Our production team coordinated the actors, locations and props for the video production. Client sign-off is essential in our production flow to ensure that there are no surprises in the video edit. Communicating through video call, email and file sharing our collaborative approach to video production facilitated idea generation and creativity, ultimately optimising the video deliverables, creating effective digital content that the client can use across all digital and social platforms.
