LOGO — The formation of the logo is based on a few of standout features that make Ennis so unique:
River Fergus: Ennis takes its name from the word “Inis” which is the Irish name for island. And that’s exactly what Ennis is – an urban island. The river Fergus winds its way around the town.
Laneways and Bow-ways: Ennis is a Gaelic medieval town famous for its atmospheric laneways and bow-ways. Bow-way is a term unique to Ennis which describes the covered pedestrian passageways which would have linked the main streets to what were once very busy tenement areas behind.
Big Wave: Ennis is the perfect base to stay at if you are visiting Clare’s majestic coast. Clare is world renowned for its big wave surfing and pristine beaches.
TAGLINE — Ennis is an island. In fact it is a heart shaped island. The River Fergus wraps around Ennis to define its heart shape. The locals care about their town and they love culture. Ennis is a friendly town with a beating heart for traditional music which gives Ennis its own unique rhythm.
WEBSITE — Ennis.ie was designed with searchability in mind. The information architecture underlying the build provides a multitude of ways for the user to explore what Ennis has to offer. The backend system, built with Drupal, provides our client flexibility to curate seasonal experiences to coincide with marketing drives to promote Ennis and its surroundings. Visitors to the website can easily plan a visit, book events and activities and connect with accommodation and business partners.
