Féile Na Gréine is a music festival that takes place in Limerick City. The event takes the form of a music trail across the city, showcasing the best in emerging and left-field Irish music and connecting audiences with unconventional artists in an inclusive and celebratory environment. We were commissioned with creating a festival brand identity that would resonate strongly in the digital social media space.
What we did:
- Brand Development
- Graphic Design
- 3D Motion Graphics
- Video and Photography Production
- Marketing Campaign Management
3D MOTION DESIGN — We developed a series of photorealistic 3D animations to visually represent the eclectic and divergent music from the festival. A bold colour palette coupled with abstract 3D shapes were used to develop a unique set of assets that represented each artist at the festival. The 3D generation method allowed for unique expressions of the brand graphic across print and digital, and intended to be acerbic and challenging in order to foster a sense of openness to the artistic offering of the festival.

COMPOSITED GRAPHICS — To strengthen the links between this festival and the host city we developed a live-action video that brought the viewer through the city, stopping at each venue, where we composited our 3D shapes into the environment. This made for a striking and unexpected end result. By taking the abstract brand elements and juxtaposing them alongside real environments, we created a stronger brand association with Limerick City, showcasing this urban space as a significant national stage for the arts.

MARKETING — We created a cross channel social strategy and campaign schedule, including social advertising, native content, event promotion and live coverage. We developed copy for both native posts and advertising, and created a suite of assets for each platform. We also utilized the reach of every performer and venue by creating bespoke assets for each one, and coordinating their release as part of the campaign.
