In the run-up to Ireland’s 2019 local elections, we developed a video campaign for the Immigrant Council of Ireland. The aim was to inform Irish residents, regardless of nationality, that they can vote, and run as a candidate. We created ten videos, each in a different language, to clearly communicate this message to the various diasporas that live in Ireland.
What we did:
- Motion Graphic Design
- Video and Photography Production
- Social Media Campaign Management
VIDEO PRODUCTION — The resulting videos are narrated by a number of Immigrants who have chosen to call Ireland their home. They speak in their native tongue, to best communicate to their respective communities. Not only were these videos intended to inform, but also inspire the diverse range of people in Ireland to make a proactive change in their community.
CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT — The video campaign was launched on social and digital, using audience targeting measures to reach immigrants living in Ireland. We segemented audiences based on language, creating audience profiles on Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads, and targeting these groups with the relevant video ad. Ads were placed on Facebook and Instagram, as well as YouTube audience networks. The campaign ran twice in the lead up to the local elections and achieved significantly high results including reach and video views.
