Mary Immaculate College (MIC) has grown from its established position as a teacher training college to offer a broader choice of courses to a more diverse group of students. The College has grown beyond its home on the South Circular Road in Limerick City to open a new facility in Thurles, while the Limerick campus has expanded to a new facility across the South Circular Road. We created marketing content including graphics for the College’s web and social marketing campaign.

BRAND DEVELOPMENT — We worked with MIC to update and develop their undergraduate brand. With growth at the heart of the MIC brand, we created a brand built upon an underlying grid. The MIC Grid is a basic geometric pattern that acts as building blocks in the creation of all promotional material. We expanded the colour palette of the original MIC brand, set clear typographic instructions and detailed how to create brand elements and work within the grid.
ADVERTISING DESIGN — We established a tone of voice that is direct, clear and positive with short headlines to capture attention and subheads to provide context and calls to action. With these brand elements in place, we realised the brand across multiple applications and formats.




PRINT DESIGN & DIGITAL — We created a range of design solutions for MIC, including advertising templates for newspaper, OOH and social media in numerous dimensions and levels of information. We created on-brand editorial templates for prospectuses and flyers and presentation templates for PowerPoint and Publisher documents to maintain brand development consistency.
VIDEO PRODUCTION — We produced several MIC undergraduate videos that have been used across social media platforms, in cinema campaigns and for presentation purposes. The videos celebrate the joy of learning, feature the facilities at MIC and showcase the range of courses and career opportunities available to MIC graduates.

PHOTOGRAPHY PRODUCTION — We created a style guide for the creation of photography and set about building an image bank based on the principles of MIC’s dynamic brand. The photography we produced captures students on campus and in Limerick City and showcases the facilities and student lifestyle in MIC.
