Rethink Ireland supports the most innovative non-profit organisations working in communities across the country. Through cash grants and business supports Rethink Ireland enables social innovations to develop and maximise their impact. We worked with 20 awardees in the Rethink Ireland Arts and Youth funds, supporting them in communications, storytelling and brand positioning.

COMMUNICATIONS SCOPING — We began by conducting a full communications audit and research for each awardee, analysing their current communications activity, identifying target audiences, and identifying opportunities for growth. By digging deep into how the awardees were communicating across all platforms we identified exactly how we could support them in telling their stories, reaching new audiences and building their brand profiles.
COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT — For the Arts Funds awardees, we developed 12 month communications strategies in which we set communications objectives and targets, outlined approaches for social and digital platforms, identified target audiences and key messages, as well as outlining a series of communications initiatives to be carried out. Each awardee was provided with a comprehensive strategy, as well as a series of support documents, such as guidelines to support certain initiatives, and templates for reports and content calendars.
COMMUNICATIONS NEEDS ANALYSIS — As a result of our work on the communications scoping and strategies for each awardee, we identified communications areas that Piquant could support with. We provided bespoke options tailored to each organisation, spanning all of our services: video production, photography, motion graphics, digital marketing, graphic design and web development. A variety of options were provided so that the organisation could choose the supports that suited them best.
COMMUNICATIONS ACTIVATION — We activated communications supports for each organisation across a wide range of services, creating social media graphics, photography, motion graphics assets, managing influencer marketing campaigns, providing marketing training and support, and developing campaign strategies. Through strategic communications and the creation of bespoke training and digital content we supported the awardees to effectively tell the stories of their impact to stakeholders, funders, members, participants and the wider community.
