Rethink Ireland provides support to charities and social enterprises who make a difference in Ireland’s most pressing social issues. Arts and culture have always been important aspects of human civilisation, both promoting individual expression and strengthening and bridging communities. Rethink Ireland recognises the power of arts and culture to improve lives. We worked with Rethink Ireland to produce two online showcase events, to facilitate the awardees on the Arts and Youth Funds to celebrate and demonstrate their achievements during the programme by telling their own stories.

EVENT PRODUCTION — The end of Funds Showcase is an integral feature of Rethink Ireland social innovation funds. The showcases are an opportunity to connect awardees with funders, supporters and senior stakeholders. It is an opportunity to deepen understanding and appreciation of the value of social innovation in Ireland. Ordinarily the showcases happen in a venue as a live event. However due to the Covid pandemic the 2021 showcase took place online. Piquant produced the online events which were broadcast live from TV studios and featured professional hosts, key note speakers, video content, live interviews with awardees and audience interaction and questions. The events successfully showcased the achievements and impact of the awardees on the arts and youth funds.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT — The aim of the showcase events was to demonstrate the collective impact of their work on individuals and communities, and to infiltrate the thinking of policy makers. For each event, we developed event identities that represented the collective ambition of the awardees to facilitate participation in the arts, culture, education and social innovation for all citizens.
EVENT IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT — With the identities in place we produced a suite of content to promote the events in addition to a range of digital content used within the live event such as motion idents, studio backgrounds, presenter straps, audience interaction graphics and other engaging motion graphics and event visuals.
VIDEO PRODUCTION — We produced videos for all 20 of the awardees, highlighting the impact their organisation has on participants and target audiences. These videos were used by each organisation on social media, and throughout the showcase events.
