Thomond Asset Management are a wealth management company whose aim is to make financial services clear, simple and tailored to its clients. Piquant delivered a rebrand for Thomond Asset Management, starting with a brand audit and several strategic workshops to deliver a fresh brand that maintained the company’s excellent reputation and offered a strategy to build on its image.

LOGO REFINEMENT — The Celtic letter-form of Thomond Asset Management’s logo demonstrates the awareness and respect of their proud heritage. Housed in a deep red circle further communicating their place, not just nationally, but rooted firmly in the Munster region. These elements combine to form a seal: mark of true quality. Minor tweaks were made to sharpen up the seal and the typography was redesigned to create a more recognisable brand.
BRAND DEVELOPMENT — The real task was to create brand assets that Thomond Asset Management could use in their day to day communications. We looked at the history of the Kingdom of Thomond and explored the remarkable landscape of this physical area. We drew parallels between the resilience of the land and robust financial planning as protection for an uncertain future. By establishing further brand rules such as colour palette, typography and copywriting we are able to create a wide range of assets that were consistently on brand.
WEBSITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT — We designed and developed the new Thomond Asset Management website around simplicity and usability. Much of the non-essential content was stripped out, and clearly labelled services were prioritised so users could quickly and easily find content that was relevant to them. With a paired back wireframe in place, it was essential to ensure that the UI was intuitive and engaging, so subtle transitions and effects were introduced to enhance the UX.
